Great Dashcam

I have been very happy with this dash cam and the ease of use. Unfortunately I think it may have been discontinued and replaced with a newer more expensive mode.

Not the easiest to figure out how to operate, and the cord is very short for my dash but great picture quality.

Recently went on a 2K mile road trip.

Garmin performed well. Crystal clear photos. Im buying two more for my other vehicles .It's a must have for any Motorhome owners with so many jerks doing the "brake check thing trying to collect insurance money etc.

Compact profile

The advertised voice control “Ok Garmin- record that” doesn’t seem to work at all. The process of recording, reviewing, and transferring clips is making me feel like that old guy who doesn’t understand how technology works anymore. “There is an app for that” that I’m really not trying to fiddle with if a deer weight tests my front end or a jerk in a BMW with defective turn signals decides to occupy the same space as me. When my car is upside down on the side of I-5 and I’m trying to see if anyone else in the car is alive, I’m not gonna want to stop and open the Garmin app to make sure the event is recorded. I had this installed behind the RVM and it seems like a pain to take down and put back up so I just keep my fingers crossed that no one will pop out my window to show me how quickly they can uninstall it for me. I’m counting on the tiny profile and the proximity to the aftermarket car alarm warning light to disguise the camera as part of my security system. It would be AWESOME if that was an actual feature of this cam, but as this model does not have an interior facing cam, that isn’t feasible. On the positive side, you don’t have to worry about the judge showing clips of you picking your nose seconds prior to a collision! So small victories, right?

Great product

The initial setup and placement can be tricky. Besides that, great product. I recommend the constant power plug from Garmin as well. I was able to attach the cord thru that and keep the wire off the dash.

I’ve been using Garmin products for years and once again they’ve done it with the 67W. Perfect low profile excellent quality. Great use of cellphone option as a lager screen.

Great dash cam

Took longer than expected to link to app, about 30 minutes to troubleshoot the dashcam not pairing to the app. After it was paired It's worked without issue. Purchased an after market dongle to power through rearview mirror vs running the usb cable to the center console and it looks great. Being able to save and view video to app and use my phone is convenient. Optional features such as lane departure work well. Auto saves if it determines possible collision or issue. Overall great purchase!
