I bought this 3 weeks ago in order to replace my fitbit which had aged out. It took some getting used to as the step counter is not as sensitive as the fitbit which counts your every move. I've had to work a lot harder to get my 10 thousand steps in a day! There's also something called a Body Battery which I have yet to figure out. There's a lot more to this watch than I thought.

Great features on watch
I bought this watch after my second Fitbit broke. I decided instead of buying another Fitbit I would try Garmin. So far so good.

Awesome watch!
I bought this watch about a month ago and I am so very happy. Have always been an iwatch person but after reading on this product I am happy to switch over to the Garmin fam. Although it doesn’t have the perks of texting or answering phone calls not disappointed I’m ok with letting that go. Battery life is amazing!

So far… awesome watch
I’ve had this watch for about 4-5 weeks now and really like it. Love the features, specifically the sleep tracking, body battery, calorie tracking, activity tracking. I’m still learning about the algorithm behind these features, and I recognize they may not be fully accurate, but if you’re serious about tracking metrics for health and fitness, this is a great tool.

It works wonderfully as an all around fitness watch for me. Only drawbacks are in some of the recording accuracy. When counting reps its only 80% accurate, but you have the ability to alter it afterward so its not a huge issue for me personally. There's also some clunkyness in the app around the coach, errors in the coach displaying workout plans and updates from day to day. There are work arounds but they can be annoying. The hardware itself has been great and i love the adaptability of the interface.

Great balance of low key smart watch and tracker
I have an Instinct 2 Solar for when I need something rugged, but day to day I just want a basic smart watch that tracks what's important to me. This does the job and doesn't scream: FITNESS NERD.

Not impressed so far
I gotta say I'm not very impressed with it so far. The fact that I can't control which apps send notifications to the watch (for iOS it all or nothing. If you get a notification on your phone, you get it on the watch. No exceptions.) is bordering on a dealbreaker for me. I like the body battery feature, and that's mostly what I bought it for, but it's not very intuitive to use and interpret. Reading the stats on the watch is somewhat clunky, and the app isn't particularly intuitive. I also wish there were more plug and play watch faces with a slightly cleaner look. I don't want to do all the fussing with the Connect app to find a face that I probably have to pay extra for anyway. So far the transition from FitBit to Garmin has been challenging and I'm not sure if I'll be able to stick it out or have to pivot back. Trying to give it a real shot though.

Great features and battery
Love the features and the fact that the battery last for days. My Apple Watch the battery has to be charged each night and wanted it to see how my sleep was and to track my steps and was unable to do that. But with my Garmin I don’t have to worry about it running out of battery.
