strap is way too tight

I ordered my size 7 & I reordered 7.5 since the strap is way too tight. I tried 7.5 for 30 minutes, and slowly, my foot began to feel uncomfortable. Very well-made shoes and comfortable if no strap issue, but the manufacturer needs to re-pattern the strap a little higher for enough movement space. Sadly, I need to return all!
