great oven but intolerably noisy

Does everything it is supposed to do and does it well BUT it howls like a Banshee for about ninety seconds when starting it up after being inactive for several hours. Its identical predecessor did the same thing until I started cutting off the noise by slamming my fist onto the top of the oven. That worked but soon necessitated replacement. I conclude that it's some sort of design flaw so tolerate it but is is annoying.

Great Features
