comfort and style

I ordered 7.5 (my standard size) and 7. 7. 5 was a choice - 1cm or 1 finger longer if nylon sock and almost proper size with thick cotton or wool sock what is appropriate for cold winter. So , if it used only as stylish accessory on nylon sock , size down is OK. For real cold weather your regular size is appropriate with warm socks. I choose them also for genuine fur, leather and rubber sole what I expect is reliable for freezing weather. Open top is still OK for straight pants outside or slim - inside .Not heavy weight, rather light and sole is flexible enough to walk comfortably.
