terrible experience buying gift registry items

I have no idea what the gift looks like - I bought it from the registry and never saw it - but the shopping experience has been truly appalling. First, one of us was unable to place the order. Then we finally managed to place an order for two items from the registry, and only one of them has been shipped and delivered. We've been asked if we want to cancel the other item since we have no idea when it might be available, and we have not been told when it might possibly be delivered. I will tell everyone I know that the Bloomingdale's registry experience is incredibly disappointing, and they should shop someplace else for whatever it is that they want.
