Faulty boots
I bought this for the second time because the first pair where amazing. This newest pair not so good. They leak water. I'm not happy and don't feel like I'll buy them again.

Thank you for the feedback!
You get what you pay for. Size runs normal
These boots are as close to some Doc Martian's that I was wearing before. Took about a week to break in. Sturdy and well made.

Work, Trail and anything else.
I am a notoriously nitpicky boot buyer. They are expensive and my feet are sensitive to uncomfortable environments. I also walk a lot on wet concrete in my job. In 22 years, I have found three boots that work for me and numerous others that have been a waste of time and money. The first two boots are no longer made, the last one you are looking at. At 6'2 230 lbs, I put a lot of wear and tear on boots and shoes. I pound out at least 10000 steps a day on concrete and way more than that on hiking trails. With that said, these boots are incredible. The leather is strong, and as long as you take care of them (clean and condition), they will last for a long time. Mine are a year old and they still look new. They have gone through water, dust heat and chicken fat. Beyond that, they are remarkably comfortable. I have worn through a few insoles but those are replaceable. So, you might be asking why I'm on this site...buying a second pair. Maybe even a third. By the way, they come stiff and a bit tight. Wear them at home until they get uncomfortable and work your way up to break them in. It is worth it.

Comfort but sole began to split
I bought these for work. As a log truck driver I needed something that would hold up to inconsistent weather of the oregon coast. I was pretty surprised at the comfort, by far 1 of the most comfortable boot I have owned. But after about 8 months I started to notice the sole was cracking and splitting. As I spend a good portion of the day on my butt I was surprised to have this issue. They are still weather proof and fairly comfortable and still look great.. except for the sole.

Most comfortable work boot I’ve ever worn
I bought these boots 7 months ago for construction work. They’ve gone through hell and back and are still holding up wonderfully. The thickness of the soles have saved my butt from rusty nails at least a dozen times if not more. Not to mention that these are just so comfortable right out of the box. I was shocked when I tried my pair on for the first time and it felt like walking on a cloud. Most work boots get my feet aching after only 2 or so hours. With these, I can easily be on my feet all day and barely feel a thing. Absolutely outstanding boots.

I guess time flies when you like your boots
Once I decide I like (or hate) a pair of boots I usually order another pair (or start looking for different ones if I hate them) so they don't stop making them and then have to start a miserable search over again. I have loved these boots. I'm a large 300# 6'3" guy that puts a lot of torsion on footwear. They've lasted. They've remained waterproof. And even before they were broke in, they were comfortable. Stiff at first yes, of course they were...because they are tough. I was so happy with these that I kept saying order another pair, order another pair! Then.... I had a blow out at the toe bend sole/boot junction of the right boot...."Well crap, I thought. I've only had these boots like a year or so". Now what? I was going to call customer service and give them a go because they are very responsive to the complaints ( at least in the reviews). Well, I looked at my purchase history and to my surprise, I've been wearing these boots as my daily wearer since Nov of 2018. I couldn't believe it. 2 1/2 years in these boots? I guess time flies when you like your boots. At least in the North, I think anyone that works the hell out of a boot and gets 2 1/2 years out of them is generally pretty happy. So I guess I order another pair and give customer service a break for once....Unless they feel like covering them, of course.
