The Georgia Boot Forestry Logger is designed to meet wildland fire boot standards. This 8-inch boot is crafted in full-grain leather with a Goodyear Welt construction for added durability. It is unlined, features an AMP X-Lite footbed, and has a genuine leather welt. The outsole on this black boot is Vibram with oil and heat-resistant rubber lugs. It is equipped with a steel shank and milled brass hardware. The brush guard kiltie is removeable and the boot comes with an additional set of black laces. This boot meets the ASTM 2892 electrical hazard standards for soft-toe boots..

Excellent classic logger boot

Excellent, affordable boot. I own 3 pairs of Georgia loggers boots. Georgia Boot constantly offer gracious sales, where other work boot companies don't . This pair is a significant upgrade from my old g8100 loggers: Thicker laces, better eyelets, more aggressive, complex tread, lighter weight.

Comfortable, but no ankle support

Arrived 3 weeks ago and after a trial walk around the house they felt comfortable, but would need some breakin time. Wore them just in the morning the first week and a bit of soreness, but overall okay. Started wearing them all day the second week on moderate to steep side slopes and they sucked. My ankles kept rolling over as I maneuvered around and over brush on the ground. By the end of the week I was concerned I might twist my ankle or fall because of the lack of ankle support and went back to my worn out old Carolina logger boots. Summary: good for flat to gently rolling round, positively suck on anything steeper. Back to looking for new boots.

Comfortable & Dependable

Picked these up about 6 months ago, I do land management with a field crew often swinging hand tools all day & running chainsaws when needed. These boots are by far the lightest & most comfortable pair I’ve purchased in the last three years. They stand up to a lot & they’re still going strong. Sizing is pretty spot on I use a 9.5 D in men’s sneakers & a 9.5 D in these boots. Throw some wool socks on with these, you won’t regret it.

Good warm weather boot. Bad wet weather boot.

I bought these around 6 months ago. Super comfortable and well made but... The stitching leakes. Big bummer great summer boot
