This Georgia Muddog work boot has been made from a combination of tough yet soft brown leather and a . TPU shell. The shell is phenomenal because it obstructs water from getting into these boots, allows you to slop across mud-covered terrain without having the leather covered from top-to-bottom in it, plus it provides great protection against abrasions. The lace-up design is another great addition to the upper of these waterproof boots it allows you to adjust the fit throughout the day and allows your feet to rest securely down inside of these boots. When you are wearing these work boots your feet will be shielded from falling objects and will be protected against electrical exposures. The footwear has been assembled in such a manner that allows it to meet the rigorous criteria set by the ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification and the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard. The work boot's steel toe can withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.

Never Buy these. G6633

I bought two pair of these boots and they didn't stay together both pair fell apart on the sides, it seems if you try to do any kind of work in them they are not made for that. Kneeling down put pressure on the sides and they rip. This page would not let me attach pictures.

Boots for plumbing

Always great boots. The boots always take 10 days to break-in, so bring an old pair until the new ones are comfortable.

Sadly these are not made in Georgia

I purchased the boots specifically because I thought they were made in Georgia. Sadly they are not made in USA.

Perfect All Weather All Construction Boot

I just ordered my 3rd pair of Lace Up Georgia Mud Dogs in 4 years. I have been getting about 14 months per pair and honestly could probably stretch that another few months. I live in Michigan so I put these boots through every type of climate and whatever Mother Nature throws at them. I work Commercial Construction both indoor and outdoor all phases. There is nothing these boots can not handle (Concrete, Mud, Flooring, Roofing, Yard Work, Snow Shoveling) all while remaining extremely comfortable. At a minimum I wear my boots 6 days a week 10-12 hours a day if not more. They have been comfortable from day one, but once they get broken in there is no comparison in comfort. Pro Tip - Purchase a Boot Dryer. No matter what type of boot you have. I put my boots on a boot dryer every night before bed. This helps the boot last longer, feel fresh every morning, and definitely keeps them from stinking. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a comfortable boot that you can wear all day long all year round try purchase a pair of Mud Dog Lace Up Boots.

Okay boots, but I will probably not buy them agai.

I bought a pair of these boots back in May and they were extremely uncomfortable on my legs at the very top of the boots for the first three days, fortunately I started wearing them on a Wednesday and after three days I got to take a break from them. If I would have had to wear them for another consecutive day I probably would have stopped wearing them, but after the weekend they didn't feel so bad and felt broken in after the first full week of wearing them. My chief complaint now is that every day that I wear them I go home with the big toe area on socks black, it seems to wash out fine but I am unaccustomed to this issue and so far it has only been in the big toe area, so I'm wondering if this is a defect of some sort or if I am getting just a small amount of water in the boot causing this.

Where to start?

I bought these boots 2/16/2020. My leather/rubber seam has already come undone at the typical "crease point". Also a huge chunk for the red "trim" has gone missing. I work in the erosion control busines, which is the reason I bought these boots. Waterproof, steel toe and lace up(ankle mobility issue) I'm always working/walking miles a day in these boots. During the break in period I was walking 7-12 miles daily for a week. Ouch!! Granted I do have a ankle issues which made that period worse than most probably experience. Writing this review on 5/13/2020. Less than 90 days and they have failed on me.

Split and tore

I imported these into Australia with the intention of alternating them with my Mack Boots but wear them on wet days. Mainly during Winter which is short in this part of Australia but I would often wear them Unfortunately, even though they were comfortable the stitching gave way at the inflection point of the leather upper and the rubber upper. I put up with that until the rubber split. And I bought a wide pair so my foot width should not have been a problem. I'm very easy on my footwear and I swap them around; most of my boots last up to 8 years. I have some boots that are 20 years old. There's plenty of tread on the sole left as well. Very disappointing.
