The Georgia Waterproof Lace-To-Toe Work Boot is an extremely durable boot that keeps water out. Built with the Georgia Waterproof System, this boot stands up to rain and mud. Air gets in, but water can't. There's a 100 percent guarantee that your feet stay dry. Durability, performance and comfort come from the exclusive low-heel Vibram Lug outsole that resists abrasions, chemicals, heat, oils and metal chips. Goodyear welt construction enhances the lace-to-toe boot's strength and flexibility. There's also a steel shank for support and stability. Comfort is not forgotten with this work boot. It has a removable polyurethane orthotic insert. The collar is fully-lined and padded. An 8-inch boot, this footwear features full-grain black leather. The brush guard kiltie is removable. Outstanding Work Boot!!!

Right out of box Elk Hunting. Georgia never disappoints!!!!!! Break in not terrible for such a high quality boot. Im on my 3rd pair since 2007. I was a Wildland Firefighter for 10 of those years. Low heel Logger never lets me down.

Comfortable but not waterproof

Very nice boot as far as looks and comfort but nowhere near water proof. The description says 100% guaranteed water wont get in! The first day I wore them my feet stayed dry. Everyday after that my feet have gotten progressively more wet with each wear. By the 3rd week of walking in the snow periodically throughout my work day my feet are soaked. Nice boot for working in dry weather, definitely not worth the steep price tag.

So far so good!

I’ve worn Georgia boots for many years now. They have always been the most comfortable and durable boots I could find. I have worn Danner and Redwings as well. I was hesitant to buy these on the internet because they are a different style than what I’m used to, but with free shipping it’s hard to pass up. So far I’ve worn them in wet and muddy conditions for a week and my feet have stayed dry. There is a bit of a break in period that is to be expected. I hiked around the woods on steep slopes on the 5th day and they felt comfortable. As long as the waterproofing lasts, these are gonna be great work boots.

Want MASSIVE support and comfort? Go with Georgia!

I've owned a vast variety of boots throughout my life; everything from infantry boots, work boots, steel toes, loggers...none of them have felt as comfortable right out of the box and onto the jobsite as my recently purchased pair of Georgia lace-to-toe! To start with, I have a pretty bad knee from numerous injuries and even a couple of surgeries. Finding a good boot with massive support and above average comfort was going to be crucial. Georgia provided that in spades. This is the type of boot you can wear for twelve hours and not be dying to pry them off at the end of a long day. Although I didn't necessarily need a waterproof boot, I went with the lace-to-toe version because the entirety of the boot is constructed with full-grain leather. And while some waterproof boots run warm, these boots feel comfortable even on a hot summer day. I will say that if you're in between foot sizes, I found that these boots run a bit more wide in the toe and about half a size bigger than normal. But other than that, if you're looking for something lightweight, waterproof, with fantastic support, ventilation and comfort, I would highly recommend shopping with Georgia.
