Poor quality and poor customer service

I purchased this item on 8/12/25 and gave it as a gift on 9/6/25. The bracelet looked fine but on 11/3/25 one of the links broke making the product useless. I bought the product on Macy's website. I took the bracelet along with my receipt to the Macy's in the Concord Mall and was told that I would have to call the on-line Macy's. The long and short of it is that, after calling and speaking with 3 people overseas, I asked to be transferred to the US. I told them that I felt the product was defective because it broke after 2 months of use. The supervisor told me that Macy's policies have tightened up on returns and exchanges. Now I understand why so many Macy's stores are closing. They were known for great customer service, but unfortunately that has passed.
