Calf circumference was not accurate

The boots are pretty but in the product description states that the calf circumference is 15.55", but the actual measurement was about 2 inches smaller, which makes a big difference for a wide calf.

Not what I thought.

When I saw these in the store I really did like them. I tried them on in my normal size, and they were way too big. When I got home I ordered them online 1/2 size smaller, received them and they were still too big.I returned them to the store. It seems that you really should go down about 1 and 1/2 sizes. Very strange!
