Customer Name Written Directly on Box
I was very disappointed when I picked this item up from Macys. The item was purchased from a wedding registry. The box was damaged. I understand it comes from a warehouse, but it’s still an item I am purchasing. I still spend money on the item and I hope that it comes in good shape. Also, when the workers brought it out to me I noticed that they wrote my name in giant letters directly on top of the box with a black sharpie. Why would you do that? It’s a wedding gift. So if the item needs to be returned my name will be on the item when you resell it. When the couple opens the gift the first thing they will see is my name in giant black writing. Incredibly inappropriate, unprofessional and tacky. When I asked why my name was on it I was told that they have many boxes in the back so it helps them find the names. Well the shipping label has my name so I’m not sure why my name had to be written directly on the box. Please do not write customers names on boxes. It’s inappropriate.
Disappointed
Beautiful every day dishes, but after only a few weeks scratches are appearing on the surface of the plates from cutting food. Didn’t expect that from quality stoneware.

Love this set! The blue is perfect. I have another set of gibson but not the elite.
