Cute Nordic Scene
This is a really cute piece that is intricately cut. The wood product used is very thin. I'm not confident that I love the unpainted prong-like tabs used to attach the green (not teal, as described, yeah!) "C" outline. The Nordic Winter scene isn't specific to Christmas. I planned to place this on our mantle, and will keep it up all winter. I haven't put the batteries in it yet. I'm hoping that it has an auto-shut off timer, but am doubtful. It comes with a picture hanging bracket on the back that appears to be well placed, and secure. The piece is well packaged in a box and Styrofoam. I think that keeping the packing will be important for storing this for future seasons. I would not pay full price for this. I really wanted to love this piece. Overall, the quality isn't up to the standard I expect from Macy's.
