Disappointed

I originally purchased this from Sephora and fell in love. The casing of the balm is leathery , and texture of the balm was smooth and hydrating. Unfortunately, I lost it and it’s out of stock. I saw it was in stock with Macys and purchased it. It is not the same . The leather casing feels cheap and the balm is driving and barely reactive. What a disappointment.

Very dry with a heavy waxy feel.

I wanted to love this but it is very difficult to apply due to its dry, waxy consistency. I ordered one for me and one as a gift for my mother. We both agree that you have to press very firmly and smear it to apply. It’s neither pleasurable nor luxurious. It might be fine if you’re high up on a ski slope and need protective lip armor but as a high end lip balm junkie this is one of the most disappointing balms I’ve ever tried. Giving an extra star for the nice, refillable packaging.
