Velvet and floral

Unique scent

It’s unfortunately not quite a perfume that I enjoy on myself, but I imagine a lot of people would love it! It smells maybe a touch too powdery for me. It has great longevity, and a little goes a long way. The scent is light enough for daytime use, but also alluring enough for evening.

Woody white floral
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First off, the bottle is lovely. A bit chunky but feels quality. It’s going to take some more time with this fragrance before I’m sure how I feel. On paper I got a lot of white floral, amber, and apple. On my skin it’s very different. The floral notes are there, but it’s very heavy on the resinous woody notes. Very warm and dry, but no fruitiness. Right now it’s hot and smoky where I live and I find this fragrance too heavy. I really want to try it in winter. I think it will be a different experience in a different season.

Smells delicious, lasts a long time!

An amazing addition to the l’interdit family!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’ve been testing the new Givenchy L’Interdit Le Parfum for a week and I can’t get enough of it. L’Interdit has always been a staple in my collection, and this new release might just replace my tried and true. It’s rich and slightly spicy at first, then softens into a warm floral with a smooth, creamy depth. It feels elegant but still easy to wear day to night. My boyfriend has even started wearing it too, and it somehow smells just as good on him as it does on me! We will be sharing this one!
