Love the Spandex

I am 5’7” and weigh 159, in a size 12. These fit great. The fabric is soft and comfy. Love the added spandex which makes it easy to pull them on, sit and bend. Very happy with my purchase.

The PERFECT Straight Leg Jean

After trying on a zillion different jeans, these by Gloria Vanderbilt are the only ones that fit me right and are very flattering. As much as I love skinny jeans, it’s time to change things up a little and this Shape Effect Straight Leg Jean is the ONE. If you have a little extra tummy like me, most of the pull-on jeans are just too tight in the waist. This one has a zipper and wider waistband that is actually comfortable! Great fit in waist, hips, rear, slimmer thighs and a straighter leg with just the right width. I’m 5’6”, wear a 12, the average length is perfect on me, and the cut of the leg is slimming. The length works well with lower heeled boots, sneakers or sandals. Good stretch, medium-weight and very well-made. I bought three pair, note: the pair in the Toronto color run smaller so am returning, the blue (Woodsburgh) is perfect. Runs true to size. I could only find these at Macy’s and so glad I did. You will love them.

Pockets seem low

Nice feeling material and length was spot on. However, not much shape effect and the back pockets felt too low and weren’t flattering. I’m petite and these weren’t too long, but the pockets weren’t placed right for my smaller frame.
