?Lead free? Maybe/Maybe NOT

I ordered 3 different beautiful decanters, hoping these decanters would declare they are lead-free on the box . The USA hasn’t used lead in their crystal containers since I was a child however, not all countries adhere to this. Upon calling an agent with Macy’s, she could not tell me which country these containers came from so that I could research. I took the chance that these “imported” containers would declare they were indeed lead-free however, that was not the case. Liquor in a lead-free decanter, for long periods, can seep lead into the liquor. Because of this, I did not take the chance and sadly returned all 3 beautiful containers. Because of not enough information on these health concerns, I cannot recommend this product no matter how beautiful they are

LOVELY

I absolutely love this decanter. When I passed it in the store I just had to buy it. Now when holidays come around I bring it out for everyone to use. Not only do I own the decanter but 4 goblets that came with a set and we use them all year round. Thank you so much Macy’s.
