Shattered and wouldn't exchange

I recently purchased these as a Christmas gift for a family member that was from out of town and when I opened the package, it was shattered to pieces. I tried taking it after Christmas for an even exchange since I bought them at a really good price and was refused that as well so had no other choice to walk out empty handed and my family member with no gift for Christmas! extremely disappointed in Macy's!!
