I use it as a soap dispenser! I did add little non-skid pads underneath...The pump works smoothly for dispensing soap. I have them in our three bathrooms!

Beautiful and well made. I purchased 2 one for lotion and one for soap. This was a great buy they were on sale and nice addition to my bathroom.
