Quality lacking for glass with color

Glass used not actually red. The red paint began peeling off the glass. I am a Godinger fan, but this particular item fell short of my expectations.

Not dishwasher safe

Disappointed they can’t go into dishwasher. I don’t recall seeing that in description.

Perfect gift for the holidays!

I purchased these glasses as a holiday gift for a friend. They are striking and elegant heavy excellent quality. Red is her favorite color and she was thrilled!

Not red glass

I love the red color. It is so vibrant. The problem however, is that the glass is not red. There is a coating on the glassware. I know, because one glass is starting to peel off. I do not have a dishwasher. I must wash all my dishes by hand. This could be the issue. Still, this should not happen.
