Smaller than expected - won’t hold a full fifth

Very pleased with the quality of the decanter - looks very much like lead crystal, and it’s remarkably heavy. Just not sure why they made this about 2 oz too small to hold a fifth of liquor. Mine arrived with a small chunk missing from the side, but assuming it was just a quirk.

Glass

This item states it is glass not crystal so no need to use vinegar and water. This manufacturer makes other containers that are crystal and some that are led-free crystal. it is lovely even though it is not crystal,

Much better than liquor bottles!

It sparkles. I followed the directions which stated that you should fill the decanter with 1/2 vinegar and water for 24 hours to leach out any lead. I bought several more on sale.
