Macy’s Shipping/Service = Horrible!

I’ve ordered many Godiva products from Macy’s, but always in the Fall or Winter, never Summer. Purchased as a Father’s Day gift. Chocolate arrived melted and the ice bags were completely dissipated/hot. I immediately called Customer Service. After holding for over 20 minutes, I was connected to a non-U.S. based representative. She was really nice, but I couldn’t understand 90% of what she said except “Sorry, refund, and email.” I just wanted off the phone at that point. I asked if she wanted me to email pictures and she said, “No.” I later learned that “email” meant that she wanted me to return a melted box of chocolates or be charged again. Seriously? What a waste of money for shipping/return. As much business as I do with Macy’s this was an insult and waste of my time. Godiva, if you’re reading this, you really need to rethink doing business with Macy’s. I was so disappointed with Macy’s Customer Service and I won’t be buying Godiva from them any longer.

Godiva

The candy expired Dec 2024. Pieces of the candy were upside down in the box. I purchased the candy as a gift and the recipient was so disappointed that she couldn't eat the candy. She had to return the candy to me so I can pursue getting a refund.
