Infinite Stars!

This biography Going Infinite is possibly the most interesting book I have ever read. The way this story is written takes the reader through stages of Sam Bankman-Fried life and how it and his perspective have changed. The author, Michael Lewis, opens a window for us to see what is happening in the life of someone who was previous to this, very closed off. The title of this book is also genius because it has strong ties to many themes in the book. I think it most closely relates to how Sam says that he, as an effective altruist, could have use for infinite dollars. This makes the book even more exciting because as it progresses the reader is able to see how Sam’s businesses and money increase on the timeline until it reaches the max and all crashes and burns. This book was also a perfect read right now because the trial for Sam just concluded recently. This book doesn’t try to sway you though, instead, it lets you in on all that has happened to Sam and the people around him and lets you make your own choice. It helps you trace what may have happened and in some way tries to get you to solve the mystery of where all the money went. This is incredible writing to be able to do this because the people in the book all have strong opinions but the author is able to balance out their bias to try and see the truth. This book seems like it would be hard to read and understand at first because of the complicated subject material, but the way everything is laid out and described, even a 10 year old could understand it. You are never forced to grasp the whole unattainable description of what Sam is trying to do because Sam himself doesn’t even know. Furthermore, the author attaches tons of extra charts and diagrams to the book to help the reader's understanding.  The best part about the book is how much information the author was able to obtain for this book. Throughout the book, there are interviews, a lot from people who prefer to stay nameless, who share information that had never been known before. The experiences Sam went through and how Michael Lewis was able to get it from multiple angles made this story truly special. This book is one of my all-time favorites and I would recommend it to everyone even if they prefer fiction. The story of Sam’s life reads much more like fiction and seems like it could never be true even though it is. This book also never gets old and I could keep reading it forever and still find something new in it to enjoy.

Wrong section?

Saw this on the nonfiction section, but after a quick perusal it reads as a fan fiction.
