Good Socks Ruined By Perfume Insert In Package!

The socks seem fine, but I only gave 1 star because they came smelling of very strong perfume (that I’m allergic to) and am having trouble getting the smell out! Have washed and sprayed the socks with odor eliminating products, but they still stink! If you order from Macy’s and are allergic to perfume scents, you should call customer service to make sure no perfume insert is added to your order, but you shouldn’t have to do that! I am very upset with Macy’s. I asked Macy’s years ago to never send me any perfumed inserts. I’ve complained recently about receiving clothes smelling of strong perfume. Yet, my socks came with a strong perfumed insert! Even though I was able to use Reward points to buy these socks, I’ve lost time and money, as I’ve had to wash the socks more than once and use costly odor relief products and so far can’t use. Not to mention the smell gave me a headache. Macy’s, this is not a good way to treat customers!
