Sized all wrong but a beautiful piece anyway

The size of this colander is totally wrong. It was 1 1/2 qt. , not 3 qt. Also the height is 6” not 8”. However it is very well made and beautiful so I will be keeping it since my plan was to use it on my counter to ripen fruit and vegetables.
