It took forever to get this saute pan as it was on back order, and after using it one time, days later as it sat on shelf in my kitchen, I heard a large pop sound and then saw that an area around the handle had popped a hole in it. The paint had burst and I will not be able to or want to use it again!. Thinking my return period of usual 30 days had passed, I let it sit and was very upset at waste of $ which turns out to be overpriced. Finding now that it had a 90 day return and that has also passed, I'm even more upset. Macy's could not help with the return of this defective product. I felt it should be returnable as a bad product, but Macy's would not help me. I see they are no longer selling it...defective product! Sad customer. Rating Zero.

We are sorry to hear that something happened to your pan. It is unusual for anything to just suddenly explode while just sitting on a shelf. If the item dropped off the shelf and landed on the handle, then I could understand the enamel chipping. Unfortunately, these things happen. We do still sell this item.
