using the Graco Glider LX swing for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s a solid choice for parents looking for a soothing, reliable option to calm a fussy baby. While it’s not perfect, it checks most of the boxes that matter. Durability-wise, the swing feels sturdy and well-made. It holds up nicely to daily use, and the gliding motion stays smooth and consistent. I do wish the motor were a little quieter—it’s not obnoxious, but the hum becomes noticeable, especially in a quiet room. When it comes to portability, this swing is on the bulkier side. It doesn’t fold down and isn’t easy to move from room to room, so it’s best suited for a permanent spot in your home. Assembly was a bit of a process and required a screwdriver, but once it was put together, it felt secure and stable. The safety features are solid. It has a five-point harness that keeps baby snug and secure, though the straps could definitely use a bit more padding. The buckle feels a little basic, but it does the job. I feel confident putting my baby in it, and that peace of mind matters. The entertainment and comfort features are where the Glider LX really shines. The side-to-side gliding motion is gentle and mimics being rocked in a nursery glider—my baby loves it. There are multiple speed settings, vibration modes, and built-in sounds, including soothing nature noises and lullabies. The seat itself is soft and roomy, with two recline positions and a plush mobile overhead for a little visual stimulation. My biggest gripe is with the harness comfort and the fact that it’s not the most space-friendly piece of gear. But in terms of performance, it’s a reliable swing that gives tired arms a much-needed break. Bottom line: The Graco Glider LX is a well-built, comfortable swing packed with calming features that work. If you’ve got the space for it and don’t plan on moving it around much, it’s a great addition to your baby gear lineup.

A great choice of glider to calm and secure baby
We loved this glider for our little one. It was comfortable, she loved the sounds and songs, and we felt like she was safe and secure. This helped her nap and relax on many occasions. I thought assembly was a little tricky, but certainly doable. I also found the buckles to be a little oddly sized, especially as she grew larger. Overall I'd still highly recommend for parents of a newborn or small baby.

Had not worked since purchase!
Rocks fine without the baby but when I put her in the swing it tries but barely moves really disappointing considering how much time it takes to put it together!! So frustrating.

Best baby swing
I love this swing, I love the different features it comes with such as 6 different speeds, you can play lullabies or white noise, it has a timer also so you can set it and it will stop swinging after so long. It plugs in! You still have the option to use batteries if you want but it does plug in! The bouncer does require 1 D battery but the gliding motion and sounds work with the plug! It offers 3 different recline positions. The vibration setting works good, but it’s only battery powered and the batteries are difficult to change out. This is such a good swing! My baby loves it!

With one of the smallest footprints of all the swings in the review, it is our favorite compact soother and has a price tag that will fit most budgets. The unique gliding motion may help soothe even the fussiest of babies. It has all the benefits that would come with a full-size swing, like an AC adapter or battery operation, as well as songs, sounds, a timer, and a mobile, but it has a footprint that is less than half the size of most other options. This swing is not the right choice if you want the standard swinging motion, but the deep seat and cozy fleece fabric make it an excellent place for a baby to relax while giving parents' arms a break.
