Very attractive pot. I have used several times and am pleased with its performance. The pot is roomy, heats evenly and is sturdy but not too heavy. I think that you would enjoy this item.

MY HUSBAND DOES MOST OF THE COOKING AND DOESN'T ALWAYS USE THE PROPER UTENSILS FOR NONSTICK COOKWARE HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL GRANITE STONE POTS AND SKILLETS. NOT ONLY ARE THEY AESTETHICALLY APPEALING, THEY CAN TAKE MY HUSBAND'S ABUSE. FINALLY, THE COOKWARE IS LIGHTWEIGHT, AND THAT'S A PLUS FOR SENIORS.

Honestly when it comes to dutch oven's, all the ones i have used work as expected but this one actually looks super nice too. Since I place this directly out on the counter or table when serving, its important that it at least doesnt look terrible looking so am quite happy with the hombre look of this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Granitestone 6.5 quart Dutch oven is so lightweight. I expected it to be a lot heavier. The color is beautiful with a nice gradient to it going from light to dark. I am happy it has side handles as well as a handle on the lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The more I use this dutch oven, the more I love it. It's like using my cast iron pot, but much lighter. I have made soup, stew, chili and pot roast all with excellent results. It heats evenly with no hot spots. The only thing that surprised me was that the handles on the pot and lid get very hot, so use a pot holder. The nonstick coating is super slick and is holding up well, clean up is a breeze.
