Nice fragrance combo, but a bit overpowering

This fragrance is really like a 3.5 stars, it’s a tough one to rate. On the one hand I really am into the bright refreshing citrus smell. At first I was confused with the gorgeous honey comb appearance of the bottle but then I noticed some warmer notes of a sweeter hint of vanilla. The fragrance was nice but just overall too strong all together and just too much. I only sprayed one spritz on my wrist, it just sat a bit heavy, I wished I could have had half. As for the physical bottle- I am in love! It’s a gorgeous piece to leave on a makeup vanity, bathroom counter or desk. The gold hexagon is really beautifully designed. One funny thing I kept thinking the whole gold top would pop off to use but you only flick open the top ball part so it sort of kept flying off when I went to open/smell it.

Citrus goddess

This perfume smells so good and lasts all day long! I feel like a sexy citrus goddess wearing this. 10/10 recommend if you too want to feel like that. The design of the bottle is so luxurious and unique.

Just Wow

I wasn’t expecting to love this the way I do. It’s beautiful, light, hints of sweet fruit and just a touch of floral. Absolutely lovely. I can be particular with perfume and have admittedly become a bit of a snob, but was totally impressed by this fragrance. The bottle is also gorgeous. Intricate honeycomb styling on time with gold accents throughout. 10/10!

Citrus heaven

What can I say? Guerlain knows how to do perfumes right, the Mandarine Basilic Forte is no exception. The citrus notes are so beautiful and leave me longing to smell more. Definitely one of my favorite “freshest.” Highly recommend.
