Clean and powdery smell. The projection is there but the longevity was not there on my skin. Not a loud or aggressive scent. It is a compliment getter. The dry down is creamy and woody.

If you wanna smell like a million bucks, this is the stuff. I'm a fragrance collector with many bottles of different Guerlains, including Shalimar from every decade from the 1950s on. I didn't need Mon Guerlain EdP, but I've always been curious about it, so when the 1 oz size was 50% off at Macy's recently, I went for it. The bergamot, mandarin, & pear in the top notes is pretty and delicate. The heart notes (neroli, sambac jasmine & lavender) emerge gracefully. I'm always wary of lavender, because if it's too strong or the wrong expression, it can come off as medicinal. No worries here - - the lavender is the barest floral touch. The iris, vanilla, and sandalwood in the basenotes Is an addictive dry down. This fragrance is obviously made from the best ingredients and so well blended, it's a delight to wear. It doesn't blast off like some perfumes, but the sillage is reasonable and it retains a classy presence for 8-10 hours on skin and probably even more on clothing (but always be careful spraying perfume on clothing, because it can stain white- or light-colored clothes). This would make a superb signature scent.
