A Wonderful Souvenir

I recently came back from Paris - my first time leaving the U.S. and SOLO! I didn't visit the heart of the city to be able to visit shops like this one in person, but I did visit the Versailles Palace. The marble casing on the cover is reminiscent of the floors, stair casings, and statues that fill the palace. And of course, Louis XIV would approve of the gold. The entire finished product was a nice reward for a job well done.

The perfect birthday gift
