Beautiful color, formula could use improvement

I bought this lipstick because I was obsessed with the color and looking to find a replacement for my discontinued shade. While I love the color, I was surprised the formula wasn’t as easy to apply on my lips. The shade also isn’t as opaque as I hoped for a matte. The packaging is stunning but I had higher hopes. Fingers crossed the next shade I try looks just as good as the product photos.
