A fab foundation

I bought this after using my usual MAC for 20years and I love it. It’s sits on my skin beautifully and as I head past my mid 40s I feel like I’ve found the best foundation for my now older skin. Would definitely recommend it.

All day blurred, soft, skin like finish.

Doesn't replace my favorite Luminous silk foundation but it's right up there with it. Lightweight feel but moderate coverage. I obsessively read reviews to figure out my shade as the descriptions are super confusing. I wear Armani LS in shade 5 most year around and a 4 in summer. I am a light Neutral that leans cool in winter and Neutral in summer and I chose 1C which is a perfect match weirdly for winter and summer as it seems to go on a little darker but dry down to my perfect shade. It goes on smooth and dries almost matte but doesn't feel dry or settle into fine lines, look cakey or blotchy. It is not shiny and doesn't have a real glow to it like luminous silk either, it looks more like skin that isn't shiny. It last all day; longer than the Luminous Silk especially if set with setting powder, no primer necessary to achieve a lovely, soft, blurred finish. ( I am 50 yrs old with no blemishes, more dry than oily, normal skin) Apply with a kabuki style brush for a skin like finish. I think this is more of an everyday foundation, holding up in many scenarios but I will stick with Luminous Silk for special events or when you want a glowy appearance. But I would definitely recommend even for combination skin maybe super oily skin should stick with the original terracotta version of this. This will definitely stay in my rotation.
