Over-designed

I really wanted to love this jacket, but there was too much going on with the design. The off-centered exterior zipper made for a unique look. However, the jacket couldn't be left unzipped because inside was a vest-like section with center zipper. So leaving the jacket unzipped looked bulky. Being entirely zipped up, outside and inside, made the jacket feel too confining and warm. The hood was large and floppy with no strings to tighten it. So in bad or windy weather, it probably wouldn't stay up. This could be a brilliant design without the interior zipped vest and with a hood that was more functional.
