Beautiful dress but…

It is a beautiful dress without a doubt but I agree with other reviews on here that the proportions are way off. It is too loose in the hips and too tight in the chest and waistline. I’ve tried on 3 different sizes but couldn’t find the one to fit well. I’ve never had this problem before with Guess dresses. If I decide to keep this dress, it would definitely require alterations.

Guess Dress

Although the material's quality was not the highest, it had a shiny appearance that might appeal to others, even though it wasn't to my personal taste.

Slimming and forgiving!

Slimming and forgiving! Got this for a wedding and it was so comfortable. I am 5'5 and about 135 lbs DD. It fit perfectly. Built in bra is a win the dress is well made and not see through.

Beautiful Colors and Great Fit

Great fit - I usually use size 10 mostly. However, Guess like most designers run a little small - purchased size 12 and it fits perfect with a little room. My weight is 160 lbs, 5'5" tall and athletic build. Beautiful color and design - can't wait to wear for a cruise dinner.

design flaw

This dress has stunning colors and a nice design however, there is something wrong with how its made. The mid section bunches up in an odd way. Unfortunately, it was a gift and I have missed the window to return.

Runs small, proportions off

This dress is beautiful, the colors are lovely and vibrant. The dress runs small. It was tight through the rib cage, I couldn't zip it. Ordering a larger size would have made the top fit larger which fit okay on me if I could have zipped the dress. Also as mentioned in a previous review, the fabric at the hip puffs out which makes your hips look bigger. I am not very curvy, but the additional "poof" at the hip was not flattering.
