Defective strap attachment

I first purchased this belt bag in the silver for myself. Really liked the quality and functionality as I can use as a crossover or belt bag. The black one I bought as a gift had the belt sew on backwards, and there's no way to fix it. So I'll sadly wait to return the bag when our California stores reopen. I don't want to pay return postage.
