We enjoyed this game. Its a good one to teach about taking turns. My 1+ year old still cannot fish, but the 2+ year old can catch the fish quite easily. The wooden pieces are well made and the glitter is attractive.

Unexpectedly fun for my kids!

My family loves HABA games, so I bought this because of how cute the pieces looked. The first time we played it, I wasn’t sure about it because it is extremely simplistic compared to their other games that are more balanced and enjoyable for my husband and I as well as the kids. That all changed when my 4year old son asked to play with it on his own. He got his 3year old sister and 2year old brother to play with him and they sat on the floor for at least an hour making their own rules and taking turns fishing. I leave the game set apart from our other board games where the kids can reach it to play with whenever they want and it really works out. My oldest son says it’s his favorite. The pieces are exactly what we’ve come to expect from HABA; beautiful, high quality pieces with a good weight to them. Sturdy and absolutely adorable! I highly recommend this game if you have kids who like playing together.

There are a variety of ways to play this game. The fishing rod works great. A more basic version is just throwing dice and catching that color fish.

A huge hit!

I have purchased this wonderful game twice now - two different 2 year old granddaughters - and they love it! It is such a flexible game to play with them and the girls love rolling the large die (no worries about them putting it in their mouth) and they LOVE the fishing pole and catching the fish. We haven’t advanced to the matching pieces in the boards yet but it will be a fun next step. Very well made and so colorful. I will be purchasing more games from Haba for sure!

Not that fun with just ONE fishing pole

My toddler is almost 2 years old and he got bored of the game very quickly. Also, this game only came with ONE fishing pole. The starting age of this game is 2. Kids that young want their own fishing pole!

My 4 year old loves this game!
