Falling apart within days of wear

Both the left & right slippers developed loose threads followed by actual holes within DAYS of wearing them. They definitely would have been returned, but my husband did not get them out to wear until the return period had passed. I am surprised & disappointed that Macy's would sell an item of such poor quality.
