It works!
I have been using the LaserBand for more than 10 years-- 3 times per week for 90 seconds each session. I would have stopped using the product a long time ago if I felt it did not work or that it was a waste of my time. I DO believe it works! Maybe the best proof is that I have to go to my hair salon every 3 weeks to dye my roots-- that is how fast and how much my hair grows with the help of the LaserBand!

Initial impression of design flaws
I've only just begun using the product so I can't speak to any results yet, but for the cost of the product I'm really disappointed with some design features. The headpiece/comb itself is very rigid and uncomfortable; this is not super critical since the wear time is so brief. However, the comb itself detaches very easily, making the product seem cheaply made. For something with a price tag like this and which is in the medical device field, I would expect much higher quality control on simple customer requirements like that.

Thank you for the review, we appreciate the constructive feedback. Your LB82 teeth are made to be detachable for easy cleaning, please ensure they are securely attached. Please contact customer service so we can ensure you have the teeth in the band correctly.
Purchase
We have not had it long and I bought it for my husband; he uses it just about everyday. I use it a few times per week. The comb hurts our heads but it’s not unbearable. I have begun to see hairs sprouting up on the top of his head in just a few weeks. He says if it works for him that he’s never going to quit using it.

More body
I love this band its easy to use and I look forward to Monday Wednesday and Friday. Ive only had it a month and a half, but my hair feels fluffier and has more body. so i'm in!

I think it’s helping : )
I’ve been using the Laser Band for five months. I have noticed new little hairs around my hairline, which is great. However, I still experience a lot of shedding, particularly after I shampoo my hair (about twice a week). In the last month I’ve added in the HairMax Hair Serum, so will see if together the band and the serum can help to slow down the shedding and continue to encourage new growth. The band is simple to use and I use it every other day.

Third unit at a great deal!
This is my third Hairmax laser unit. Each worked great & provided me with the results I was hoping for. My second unit was one of the original LaserBand 41 & it just started giving me problems charging so when I saw the refurbished LaserBand 82 at this price I couldn't pass it up!! It looks like it's brand new & so far it's working great!! I do wish it came with different size teeth or that they were still available. Other than that, it's been great!!
