Great Electric Kettle
I have been using my Electric Kettle since it came into the house. I love the red color. The LED light ring lets me know when the kettle is on. The cord is attached to the base which allows me to move the kettle anywhere to pour - a nice feature. It holds 7 cups of water, so I fill it once and use it all day. It boils water quickly. I switch it on while I prep my breakfast and it's ready to go when I'm done. This has replaced the other single serve hot water maker that was on my counter. It's just as quick and takes up less space. It looks great too. This electric kettle has found a permanent home on my counter.

started well, but hasn't lasted
I've had the kettle for almost exactly 5 months. Original impression was very positive, however an issue with the base of the kettle has occured. This makes it very unreliable to boil water. It seems that the kettle must be rotated to a very specific place for the contacts to align and provide power to the kettle. However even when aligned properly and started, the kettle will occasionally stop heating after a minute or so and you have to adjust it again to restart the heating.

Nice but could be better
Nice but could be better. Very flimsy made. Feels like it is unsteady on the base.

One Hott Pot!
This is one really hott pot! The kettle boils water within a couple of minutes. It’s perfect for brewing tea, instant soups or oatmeal. The water level is easily visible through the side of the kettle. The LED light ring lets you know that the kettle is on. The kettle will automatically shut off, once the water boils. The power cord is on the base, so that you are able to remove the kettle without a dangling cord. The kettle has a switch to turn the kettle on/off.

Stainless-steel, Beautiful color, Heats quickly
This works great. A little bigger than I expected. Color is beautiful. Wanted a stainless-steel kettle, not the cheaper plastic type. Also having water level window is essential. It takes a little over 6 1/2 minutes to bring a full (1.7 L) kettle to boil. The LED light ring makes it easy see when the kettle is on and heating up from any direction. I would prefer the measurement was in cups/ounces instead of metric. Cord wrap on the bottom of the power base keeps cord out of the way.

Electric Tea Kettle
I absolutely love this product. I was gifted with the Stainless Steel Electric Kettle with LED Light Ring from Hamilton Beach and asked for my opinion. I think this may be my favorite product that they have made and I have used quite a few of their products. I make a cup of tea every morning and usually use my gas stove to boil the water. I have been wanting to purchase an electric kettle to make it easier to make my tea. This product is perfect. It takes so much less time and energy to use this. It is red and I love the pop of color in my kitchen. I would highly recommend this product and will buying this as a gift when appropriate such as a bridal shower or house warming gift. I really do love this kettle and will continue to use it when ever I need to boil water. It is so much easier than using a kettle on the stove. Great job Hamilton Beach.

Simple and attractive.
Easy to use and boils the water quickly; faster than my stove! The outside of the kettle gets a bit hot but the handle is secure and comfortable. My kids are able to safely make their tea. The kettle itself is simple, functional and easy to clean. The lid pops up fully and the mouth is big enough for me to stick my hand in to clean. This is important given our hard water. I love the beautiful red color on this kettle! It really pops in my kitchen of black and stainless. The red enamel really looks like it's done well and won't end up peeling or coming off.
