Did not work

It started smoking the first time I used it.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT

The first time I used this product to grate 1/3 of a one-pound block of cheddar (in 2 sections - not filling the entire chute into the processor cup as directed in the booklet). As I grated the first chunk, I smelled something electrical burning _ we looked around the kitchen and found nothing. I began to grate the second small chunk smoke began to pour from the base of the food processor. I un-plugged the device to prevent a fire. Carla, from Macy's customer service has already sent me a return label and will issue a refund as soon as the item is on its way. Carla was an excellent representative for Macy's and a great assistant for me!

working on medium load so far good . My wife accepted it to keep in her kitchen
