New pair after getting back into dance
I like that there is no longer a string that h have to tuck and worry about. I am one that had issues with certain materials and how they feel. The 4 way stretch is something new, that I have to get use to, and the split sole on the top portion of my foot feels off but I am guessing and hoping it's new shoe feels.

Soles in awkward spot
Overall the shoes are pretty good. I’m a size 8 in street shoes and I wanted a bit of a looser fit since I don’t want them so tight on my toes and I will be wearing them with thin socks. I ordered a couple sizes to be safe and ended up going with the size 12.5. I probably could’ve gone a half size bigger since my big toes still were bruised a bit after a day of dancing with them from how the shoes pushed onto my toenail. The leather soles under the balls of my feet are also too small maybe or just awkwardly placed and the edges dig into my feet in an uncomfortable way. I’m hoping with time that will wear down as I break them in. Otherwise, the construction of the shoe is solid and feels like decent quality.

Soft & Supple
My daughter is a 3rd year ballet student. She’s tried a dozen kinds of ballet shoes, but the Capezio leather Hanami are her top pick. The shoe that fits her best is 1.5 sizes up from her street sneaker size, and it usually takes her about two weeks to break them in to her liking. She’s never worn through a pair before outgrowing them, but we can confidently say that they’ve lasted her 9 months with 4+ hours of dancing per week.

Comfortable and looks great
I purchased these to wear as house slippers and absolutely love them. The soft leather and light padding on the split soles add comfort while giving a barefootish feel. I ordered three sizes up, which gives a nice, close fit. I would recommend going up 3.5 - 4 sizes for a looser fit.
