Not the Hanes panties I remember

I don't know why Hanes would change the underwear so drastically but ick they're awful and the size is off. I have worn a size 7 for about 30 years and now the size 7 is more like a size 6. They don't fit well and the waistband is no longer comfortable because they now have elastic without the material covering it. They just aren't worth buying anymore.

The waistband is sharp. It cuts into the skin, leaving marks. Uncomfortable to wear. The legs are tight.

The quality of Hanes underwear has changed. They are not soft. They are scratchy. I will not be buying them again.

Rise too high

I wanted to try hi-cut because others had recommended it as a style that doesn't dig in at the groin. However, these come up way too high, especially in the back! Apparently, I am looking for hi-cut but mid-rise. I will be giving the unworn pairs away.

I'm happy with the quality, fit and value

My white Hanes Ultimate Women's Breathable Hi-Cut Underwear, 6-Pack is the softest cotton I have experienced. The fit is just right, consistent with Hanes' measurement chart. My underwear looks like new after laundering and there has been no shrinkage. I like my purchase from Hanes.

I bought these on the rec of Wirecutter. I like them! Price is right, and they're comfortable. I haven't washed them much yet, so I can't comment on how well they hold up.
