POOR QUALITY

DO NOT BUY! First time I used this piece of luggage the straps on the back of the luggage tore. Not good quality, as the strap on the inside also tore. I am going to attempt a return.

Very poor quality

As mentioned by other reviewers, the hinges on the back are of very poor quality. Both fell apart after two uses. I cannot use the bag on air travel anymore for fear that it would break apart. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Looks good, Quality is terrible

I just returned from my first trip with the 28" 7R and the interior synthetic leather strap that secures the interior divider broke apart at the seams. Older generation Hartmann products used high quality leather, and were far better quality than this piece. This piece is not worth the money.

Good suitcase except for one major flaw

Such a great suitcase for the most part, but has one major issue that impacted the entire performance. The FIRST time we used this suitcase for a weeklong vacation, one of the hinges holding the suitcase together split entirely. It turns out, these are made of some sort of rubber - and clearly not very durable. Otherwise, it is stylish, well made and performs well. I hope Hartmann makes it easy to get this issue fixed.

Yet another piece in our Hartmann collection

We have been long time Hartmann luggage users. This replaced a road weary piece that an unnamed airline destroyed. Great features - super quality. There is a reason we keep coming back.
