Beautiful bag but faulty construction
I wanted to love this bag. It’s spacious, beautiful, and a perfect personal item. Unfortunately, the handles started falling apart after one use. Poor craftsmanship and tedious warranty process with Hartmann/Samsonite. I’ve already gotten two replacements and they fall apart every single time. Do not recommend even for a discounted price.

Handles Frayed and Split After Limited Use
Received this as a gift in June 2025. As others have pointed out, the handle stitching started to fray and split with extremely limited use a couple of months later. The only option for repair is to pick a store to take it to from a list provided by Hartmann. My options are one that is an hour and ten minutes away or one that is one hour and 20 minutes away. I then have to pay that store to ship it to wherever the repair facility is. I live in a suburb of Philadelphia, not in somewhere remote. Pretty ridiculous. I would not recommend purchasing.

Perfect for a weekend trip!
Very nice bag. I have alwaus wanted a Hartmann bag. I have given them for gifts, but never had one for myself. This is the perfect size for a weekend trip.

I recently purchased the Hartmann Herringbone Deluxe travel set and at first glance, it’s beautiful luggage. The herringbone fabric feels durable and high quality, and the wheels make it effortless to maneuver through busy airports. However, I was disappointed to see that the faux leather finishes on the handles started showing noticeable wear after just one trip—where the bag never left my side and traveled with me in the cabin. I submitted a claim to Hartmann, but was surprised to learn that the cost of shipping the bag back for repair falls on me as the customer. For premium luggage at this price point, I expected greater durability and stronger support from the brand. It’s a stunning set, but the premature wear and added repair costs make me question its long-term value.

Beautiful and Just Perfect
This absolutely is what it suggests but not only that more fits in than you would think and it is beautiful. I cannot tell you how many times people have commented on it and taken a photo so they could order one. An exceptional value.
