Fun for a few minutes
My kids were excited to open this toy and try it out. They not-so-patiently waited for the battery to be charged. Then we went into our spare room and tried it out. It was initially very exciting to play with. But they (and I) worried about it crashing into themselves and things on shelves in the room. After a couple turns each flying the toy, they were happy to move onto another activity and haven't asked to play with it again since. I wouldn't purchase this myself or recommend it to others since it probably won't get played with often enough to be worth the cost.

Worked great but takes a bit to charge
It works well and its very pretty, although it does take a bit to charge which takes away from playing time. Other than that, its a great toy, packing is very creative, the doll itself was good quality and it worked well.

Cute toy
First of all the Hatchimals Rainbow Glitter Flying Toy Doll is a very cute toy to look at. The packaging and the flying doll are quite glittery but it's taken two adults a while to figure out the flying part and how to control it. My kiddo loves it but as a parent be prepared to read instructions and help a fair bit.

Hatchimal Crystal flyer review
In exchange for my honest opinion I got a hatchimal crystal flyer for free. The packaging is very glittery and pink but there sure is a a lot of unnecessary additional plastic packaging. Contents: Hatchimals Pixies Crystal Flyer, USB charging cable and display case this is great as it doesn't require batteries Hatchimals Pixies can really fly and is beautifully detailed with glittery wings. You can launch her from the base or lift her into the air or use your hands to guide her flight. The power her wings get is actually pretty impressive and on a hot day it can double as a portable fan ( In alI seriousnes I do NOT recommend doing that but the wings are very powerful. The flyer get good height but it becomes clear very quickly this toy is NOT suitable for apartments it needs quite a bit of space and even then can hit walls if you're not quick to guide it with your hand. The instructions say that you can touch her wings mid-flight for auto-stop but with the power of her wings that may be tricky for some children to do without their fingers getting hit by the spinning wings. The display egg is beautiful and when not in use can display and store your Crystal Flyer in her crystal egg. Overall it is a fun toy that brings upon family entertainment and laughter but I don't recommend it for appartements.

For the entire Family
The Hatchimals Rainbow Glitter Flying Toy Doll is so fun to play its for the entire family. Its easy to assemble. Charging time and flying time is reasonable enough to enjoy the toy. Its sturdy enough to not break even if it hit the ground. One amazing thing is that it bounces up if it gets close to the ground. Definitely a good toy for keeps!

Super fun, even for adults
My 7 year old daughter is absolutely obsessed with this toy! I recall I had a similar one in the 90s, but this one is obviously much better. Its not necessary a negative thing but I would highly recommend playing this outdoors in an open space, as it can easily hit things in its path and fly over fences. We can easily entertain ourself for hours with this. Extra points because you can charge this toy, instead of using batteries.

Adorable
My niece loves this toy, the colours are bright and beautiful. Super easy to use doesnt make a whole lot of nose. It charges in no time, definitely going to be buying more from this company!

Pretty Entertaining but light weight
I am providing review for the free product provided by family rated cloud/butterly. My 7 year old loved the packaging shape which looks like an egg. Makes a good deco for her room. It was easy to open and easy to setup. She was able to use it without charging it. Setting up is a breeze. Was able to use with minimal instructions. She felt the start up button is kind of not user friendly and stopping the toy doll was another issue she didnt like. Once the start button is pressed the toy doll take couple of second to start which is kind of good. It was entertaining to see the toy doll float and flutter. It did however bump in wall or furniture. Slight bump caused it to loose the motion or balance and fall hard in the floor. This is something I feel makes the doll more vulnerable to breakage considering the toy doll body is light. Anyways overall a fun toy for girls sleep over.
