Great at first, but develop holes quickly
These are the best AND WORST socks. For the first few weeks, you'll love them -- they're so soft, super warm, and feel great on your feet! However, even with gentle washing and air-drying, every pair develops holes and threadbare spots soon after. For the cost, I would expect these socks to last longer than 6 weeks before showing wear. At first, I wondered if I was unusually tough on socks, but then my husband got this pair, which developed holes in the soles just as quickly as mine did. The hole shown in this photo developed from light wear -- driving to errands, walking around inside the house -- not from running or athletic use. I really wish I could recommend them, but HeatHolders socks are simply not durable. The price would be fair if they were sturdy socks that would last, but on a cost-per-wear basis, they are a bad value, no matter how great they may look and feel when you first put them on.

My feet are the only warm part of my body
My husband works door to door year round and can never keep his feet warm in winter. These are a complete game changer! Since he can wear them with any shoes he says his feet are the only warm part of his body on the frigid days

Favorite sock, super gorgeous and warm
Woman here, but wear men's sizes. My favorite socks I've ever worn! They're soooo beautiful, really handsome, rich colors, I have both blue and red. I kept admiring how my feet look. They're warm and cozy for my feet which have circulation issues. They are just slightly too thick to wear in my winter boots unfortunately but I wear them around the house. I love these socks so much and glad the men's sizes have some beautiful colors but, I really wish that there were more women's patterns available in the larger sizes!

The best socks to keep diabetic feet warm in bed
I have neurotrophy of both feet due to Diabetes. My feet get very cold. I bought these Men's Starling Stripe Lite crew socks to wear to bed. they are 5X warmer and have a medium thickness which keep my feet warm every night that I wear them in my bed. I really put them on once I settle down for the evening and am just watching TV. here is a picture of me wearing a sock on one foot but rest assured I have this sock on both feet.

warm socks
My wife loved her pair of warm socks so we gave three as Christmas presents to family. Since the grand opening is a few days in the future, I have no idea who the recipient will react . Imagine, the reaction of a teen age grandson receiving socks for Christmas.
