Works like a charm

Very sharp! Looks great in the block with my other Henckels. Happy with size, feel in hand, and performance. The handle is very smooth which might mean your grip might slip, but maybe not. So many bread knives at much higher prices, but I'm glad I got this. Nice for tomatoes and home-made bread.

Not a chef so this is perfect for occasional use. Holding up well and a decent match for my fancier regular knife set from zwilling

solid bread knife

This is a good bread knife. The solid construction makes a sharp blade that cuts easily. The handle is comfortable to hold. I cuts right through crusty bread and is great for tomatoes and citrus as well.

comfortable and no maintenance

I went for a Henckels knife because of the quality associated with the name. The handle is very comfortable and I love the silver accent on the end. The micro serrations along the blade edge mean great cutting and it wont go dull.

Never a dull

This knife nevers needs sharpening because it has small micro serrations at the edge. Cutting with Silvercap is a little different than other knives, I use more of a back and forth motion, but once you get used to it, cutting becomes much easier. Glade not to have to worry about whether my knife will be dull or sharp!

Glides through Everything

Use this knife for almost everything. Great for bread but also glides through tomatoes, pineapples, melons, fruits, and even rump roast. Love that it is lightweight and limits hand fatique.
