The captivating intensity and sensuality of this new expression infuse the fragrance with a femininity steeped in mystery. THE OLFACTORY NOTES: True to the elegance of a classic chypre perfume, Barénia Eau de Parfum Intense amplifies the softness of butterfly lily and the depth of oakwood. Leathery notes evoke Barénia leather, harmoniously underlining the intensity of a patchouli absolute and creating a unique and captivating signature. THE OBJECT: The bottle, created by Philippe Mouquet and inspired by the Collier de Chien bracelet, is tinted with an amber gradient, echoing the depth of the Barénia Eau de Parfum Intense. Its gentle elliptical curves balance out the strength of the pyramidal studs with their domed sides. THE HERMÈS DETAIL: At the heart of the jewel-like Barénia bottle is one final stud, shaped into the base of the glass.

An eccentric androgynous option

This scent definitely won’t be for everyone, but that’s the point. To me, it starts off sharp and bitter but mellows in about 30 minutes to the most luxe blend of leather and florals. I don’t get a lot of patchouli in this personally. Its sillage is a bit weaker than I’d hoped for an intense flanker to the original Barenia, but I don’t mind reapplying during the day. I’m on the fence about whether or not I’ll repurchase once this one is empty, but I can say it’s a very unique leather-floral that is great for women who, like me, are more androgynous than feminine. This perfume is Tilda Swinton in a market full of Margot Robbies.

Not loving the scent

I couldn’t wait to get this perfume…..it’s ok, but not crazy about the scent. It’s a strong scent & a heavy scent…..I’ll use it, but won’t order it again!

Great fragrance

I had a sample of this fragrance in a magazine, and i thought it smells good, i bought it and it didn’t disappoint, it smells rich and refreshing. Very deep flavor like essential oils.

Not mine

Do love Hermes and could not miss the newest perfume but probably this one is just not for me. I felt something harsh without that elegant and stylish Hermes scent. And not strong, I guess it lost smell in an hour..
